Underhill Farm is part of the North York Moors National Park - a working sheep farm with hundreds of acres of pristine meadowland and Temperate Old growth Rainforest.
Nesting Curlews, Barn Owls, Buzzards and Kestrels can often been seen if you visit at the right time!
The magic of the farm provides a peace and tranquility that never fails to rub off on its visitors.
No Giant cuddly toys - just our team of amazing (and very real) ambassador dogs on site to help you on your journey.
In the summer season, our Stretch Tent offers a comfortable consultation space to sit and talk about how we can help your dog move forward - in full sun or heavy Yorkshire rain!
We have always valued the importance of privacy, and the benefit of a truly individualised, personal approach to all of our training - no cookie-cutter plans. The secure paddock provides a truly peaceful, private space to learn.
Our Free Journal, 5 hours of Members Training Videos and downloadable booklets provide a wealth of supporting material to your in person learning - that you can access day or night.
And whilst we might not reply to you at 2 in the morning, members can still message us on WhatsApp at any time.

As a specialist services provider, we take care of clients across the Yorkshire Region - North Yorkshire, The East Riding, West and South Yorkshire, as well as Durham, Newcastle and Doncaster.

Sessions are primarily carried out at our secure paddocks near Stokesley, and we also offer home visiting for dogs with Chronic Fears an Separation Anxiety. Whilst our normal range of clients travel around 90 minutes or less to get to us, we are always happy to assist regional and national clients in need of specialist support - so just ask us about your needs.

Eat & Drink

Lordestones Country Park, Restaurant and Café.

Situated at the top of the Hill that gives Underhill Farm its name - offering a bistro pub menu of Yorkshire Classics, themed around Belted Galloway Beef from the Urra Estate. Plenty of undercover outdoor seating available for dogs.

Helmsley Walled Garden & Vinehouse Café

A 20 minute drive through the picturesque Bilsdale Valley will take you directly to the small town of Helmsley. Whilst there are a range of café’s and pubs to choose from, our recommendation is the absolute gem that is the Vinehouse Café. Both the garden and Café are dog friendly, and offer an exceptional and unique selection of meals, drinks and sweet treats.

Great Ayton

The Picturesque Village of Great Ayton has a number of Air BnB options available, with a 15 minute drive to Underhill Farm, and easy access to beautiful moorland dog walking routes. A number of cafés and restaurants, and convenience stores provide plenty of choice for your stay. There is also a Petrol station on the edge of the village if you need to fuel up!

Stokesley

The Market town of Stokelsey is just under 10 minutes drive from the farm, with a number of Air BnB accommodation options - and plentiful choice of restaurants, cafe’s, local shops and a supermarket and petrol station all within easy access.
